ABOUT OUR PASTORS

Penn Clark        During the past twenty-five years, Penn and Heather Clark have helped start churches, created a mission outlet for many people to go to some of the neediest places on earth, and  established safe networks for pastors and church leaders to grow in -- all geared to preparing people for the great harvest.

The Clarks are originally from Ontario, Canada and came to New York as missionaries in 1985. Penn worked as a pastor of Rhema Fellowship in Lowville, New York for over 21 years and was an Overseer for several churches within the Mennonite Church during much of that time. They left to start Word of Grace Network in 2001.

Their ministry is now based in Penn Yan, New York, which is in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of the State, where Penn is currently planting a new church called  WellSpring Fellowship.

Phil Riehl       Pastor Phil and LaReta Riehl were raised in this area and had been part of a Mennonite church before being introduced to the newness of life that comes from receiving the baptism with the Holy Spirit. Since then, they have been growing in grace and entered the ministry in 2005. They own and operate Oak Hill Bulk Food Store which is just outside of Penn Yan.

They have a growing family of four who are all interested in missions.

ABOUT OUR AFFILIATION

We relate to other healthy churches and networks outside of ourselves, whereby we can both give and receive. Our primary affiliation is with Word of Grace Network. When we have internal trouble, this will be the first group that we will look to for help. You can learn more about Word of Grace by clicking here.

We also relate in a non-official way to Elim Fellowship, as we hold many things in common with them and have enjoyed good fellowship with them through the years.

          OUR MEETINGS

Our services begin at 6:00 pm each Sunday evening in the First Baptist Church. They have been very gracious in allowing us to use their facilities as we set out to establish our church in the village of Penn Yan.

We also have a Thursday evening Bible study in homes. Ask one of the pastors for more details.
